• A track I put together a few months back. Wasn't quite happy at the time, but I quite like it now, tweaked it a little bit and put together a video using old footage, so excuse the usual "he's not playing it" parts! Also threw in my cd front and back cover which I hope to have finished soon. Been spending very little time in the studio this summer (too hot!) Some of the patches are from the CS80v I was experimenting with with . Thanks again to all you people who subscribe ,support and inspire my youtube channel! :)

Sound Synthesis - Ensoniq ESQ-1

This video shows how easy is to program an Ensoniq ESQ-1 . This synthesizer only have one slider and two buttons to modify all the sound parameters. On the right side of the front panel there is the synth schema and every part of the synth has a button to access to his menu. The screen has ten buttons surrounding it to select all the parameters of that page, select one and changes the value with the slider ( or the up/down buttons). There are not hidden menus or double push buttons, all parameters are present in one screen. Maybe this procedure seems a bit complicated but it's just my explanation, believe me it's very easy ( I have one of this ) even despite this is a very complex synth ( 3osc, 3lfos, 4env ... )

I've already posted here other mik300z performances , but this one is special, because while the other ones were covers of "synth classics", this one is an original composition. Very 80s on the sound and feeling and also a catchy song.

Ensoniq - ESQ-1

Ensoniq ESQ-1 , hybrid analog-digital polyphonic synthesizer from 1986. The oscillators are based on sampled waves but VCF, VCA are truly analog and also includes a eight track sequencer.

Main characteristics per voice

• 3 ocillators ( 32 waveforms available )
  
• 3 lfos ( saw,pulse,triangle,random, with sync, delay ... )
• Low pass filter
  
• 4 Envelopes ( seven stage envelope )
• Lot of modulation possibilities

Ensoniq Fizmo

Wavetable synthesizer released by Ensonig in 1998. With 48 voices of polyphony, 8 lfos, 41 types of effects Fizmo it's capable of very complex sounds. Two versions were released, 5 octaves keyboard and a rack version.
