When you think about synthesizers normally you think about an electronic instrument that you can play it with a keyboard. But there are another ways to control this instruments like ribbon controllers,joysticks, touch pads etc. In this video you can see alternative ways to control a modular synthesizer but you can also use them to control modern synths.
