Sound Synthesis - Vangelis sound

This video explain how to obtain the typical Vangelis sound from Blade Runner. Vangelis used Yamaha CS-80 on this soundtrack, here meastempo uses Yamaha CS70M but I think that you can get similar results with other synths. Experiment and have fun!!!

• With a Yamaha CS70M (not the Yamaha CS80, but almost there). It can sound even closer with some more tweaks. Playing sampled string-loops (on the Roland MV-8800) from original soundtrack with my other hand.
