MacBeth Synthesizers - MacBeth Mk1 Oscillator

New oscillator from MacBeth Synthesizers is on the way, this time, in 5u format ( COTK, Synthesizers.com...) . This video shows two prototypes been tested by Ken MacBeth. The main features of these prototypes are :

• Multi turn knob for frequency control
• Octave Selector
• Five different waves available at the same time
• Square wave with PWM
• Sync input
• Log and Linear frequency control
• Glide
• Stability control
• Amazing sound :)

Macbeth Systems is going to produce modules for modular synthesizers. The format will be 5U high ( Moog, Synthesizers.com, COTK...). According with the pictures on Macbeth's myspace, the planned modules are :

• Dual Oscillator/Dual LFO
• Input Mixer with Inverters Module
• (Dual) LFO/S&H/Noise
• 'Back End' All Transistor Multi- Stage Transistor Ladder Filter/VCAs/LFO/EGs

Macbeth M5 / M5n semi-modular analog synthesizer. This synth was introduced on 2005 by Macbeth Studio Systems,It's semi-modular , has hard-wired patch but you can broke it using patch cords. Over 100 of these synths were made is not very easy to find them on the second hand market.
